Sugar Skull Pumpkin Carving Class -2 sessions only

Its almost my favorite time of year....Fall...and that means Halloween is right around the corner! How would you like to blow your friends and neighbors away by learning to carve a sugar skull pumpkin? You will surely be the talk of the town when you light your masterpiece up.

We will be offering this class in two sessions, with very limited seating 8 spaces only, 

We are going to need plenty of space for our pumpkins and Mimosa's on Wednesday and Wine on Thursday night.

Tuesday Oct 28th from 10:00am - 2:00pm

or

Wednesday Oct 29th from 6:00pm - 10:00pm

all you need to bring is a larger sized cleaned out pumpkin. Look for one with the smoothest surface for the skull as possible.

Its hard to believe that this rose is NOT real, but actually made from Sugar!!! Even more AMAZING is this is a BEGINNER sugar craft class!

WHAT?????? you can make that rose good enough to eat or keep forever!

If making this rose sounds like a fun project this is the class for you....there are only a couple spots left!

Class is a two day class (first day to create and let dry, second day to color and complete)

"Haunted" Halloween Altered Book Class

Super excited to teach this class....I LOVE Halloween! 

We will be cutting and carving an old book, painting, glittering and stamping our hearts out. I will provide you with books to choose from paints and glitter galore and loads of spooky embellishments to create your spooktacular masterpiece!

Wicked Book Page Wreath

You have seen them on Pinterest....Now lets make one for your house!

Join Marah at The Art Lounge and create this super cool Halloween wreath made from recycled vintage book pages (the sample was made with an old Sherlock Holmes book and vintage spanish text book) you will leave class with a super cool wreath....you will have several centers to choose from(if you arent into skulls)...spider, raven, witch on a broom etc.

you only need to bring a glue gun and glue sticks (i prefer the mini gun but any type will work)
I will provide everything else.

Pinterest Party! Repurposed Wine Bottles

Class registration includes 1 bottle and supplies. Each additional bottle  can be purchased at The Art Lounge during class for $3.00.

Join Marah in making these gorgeous wine bottle vases using decorative napkins and a unique decoupage technique. You are welcome to bring your own napkins or choose from Marah's collection. We encourage swapping napkins with friends!

 

Painting Flowers With Erna

Class Date: August 19th & 26th

Time: 10:00am - 12:30pm

Two Sessions $60.00 USD One Session $34.00 USD

Let's paint flowers using watercolors and pens. I will show you how to draw flowers from real ones. I encourage you to bring some fresh flowers with you to class for inspiration. I will also provide watercolor paints and pens.

What to Bring: Watercolor/mixed media journal of your choice.

There will be journals available to purchase if you need one.

 

Homemade Gelli Plate Printing class

Class Date : Saturday August 9th

Time: 10-1pm

Cost $35

 

Joing Marah For a fun class using homemade Gelli Plates and Magic Foam Stamps.

If you love the idea of making your own prints, this is the class for you.

I will make the plates for us to use at home and give you the recipe to make your own as well.

Several of your favorite colors of inexpensive acrylic paint

Assorted things to make texture images with (embossed papers, bubble wrap etc)

Brayer

Paper (tags, index cards, sandich paper, cardstock...you name it we can print on it)

and I have plenty of goodies to share with you as well!

 

 

Painted Canvas Journal Cover Class- with Erna

Class Date-August 10

Class Time-10-2:00 (you are welcome to bring lunch or we have a great deli here in our center)

Class Fee $49

Erna will show you how to use canvas to create a beautiful cover for your favorite journal. We will also sew a pencil bag to hold all your art supplies. YES there will be painting and sewing! In my class I would love to teach you some techniques to make your journal YOU. A reflection of who you are. With some easy art techniques, including stenciling and printmaking, you will be amazed at yourself and what you can create.  you will have enough canvas to make  additional projects of your choice
